How the item quiz works
Each round picks an item from the current patch’s shop: starter, basic, epic, legendary or boots. The tooltip lists the stats, passives, active, cost and tier, but not the name. The icon is blurred, so the answer has to come from reading.
Pick one of the four options before the 30-second timer runs out. Get it right and the item and its recipe appear, so you see which components build into it. Get it wrong and the right answer is revealed. The next round starts on its own a few seconds later, and Practice mode waits for your tap.
Scoring
A right answer is worth 100 points. Answering fast is worth up to 100 more, and each answer in a row adds 25, up to 100 more per round. A game has 5 rounds, and your best score stays in your browser, along with the next goal to beat.
Tips to get more right
- Start with the stats: the mix of damage, health, resistances and ability haste already rules out half of the options.
- Cost and tier tell similar items apart: an epic item costs far less than a legendary one.
- Passives usually have their own name. Remember the effect and you remember the item.
- Values change every patch. Practice mode, with no timer and no points, is a good way to review the items you rarely buy.
Item of the day
Every day there is a new Item of the day, the same for everyone, with no timer and three tries. Each miss unlocks a clue: first only the stats, then the full description, cost and tier, and finally a less blurred icon.

Yes. Items, texts and values come from the latest League of Legends patch, through Data Dragon, Riot Games’ public data service, in each language’s official translation.
Can I play with the keyboard?
