About Blind Pick

Blind Pick is a free quiz for League of Legends players, with three game modes. In all of them, a game has 5 rounds, and each round has four options and 30 seconds to answer.

• Items: you see the tooltip of a shop item, with its stats, passives and cost, but without its name and with a blurred icon, and figure out which item it is.
• Abilities: you see an ability icon that starts as large black-and-white blocks and gets sharper every second, and figure out which champion it belongs to. If you get the champion right, you can also earn a bonus by guessing the ability’s key.
• Champions: you see a champion’s splash art up close, the camera pulls back every second, and you figure out who it is.

There is also the Item of the day, the same item for everyone, with three tries and a new clue after each miss, and Practice, with no time limit and no points.

How scoring works

• Each correct answer is worth 100 points.
• Answering fast earns up to 100 extra points, in proportion to the time left out of the 30 seconds.
• Correct answers in a row add 25 more points for each answer in the streak, up to 100.
• In Abilities mode, guessing the ability’s key is worth 50 more points.
• A wrong answer or running out of time resets the streak.

Where the data comes from

The data and images come from Data Dragon, Riot Games’ public static content service. The game always fetches the latest patch, so items, champions and abilities keep up with League of Legends updates. In Items mode, only items that can be bought on Summoner’s Rift are drawn; champion-exclusive items, Ornn’s upgrades, consumables and wards are left out.

The site is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Item, champion, ability and skin names come from Riot’s official translation for each language.
