How the champion quiz works

Each round picks a champion from the current patch and one of their arts. The splash starts at 4× zoom, and the badge in the corner shows how close it is. The camera pulls back nonstop and shows the whole art at 16 seconds. At 12 seconds a clue appears: the champion’s title.

Pick one of four names before the 30 seconds run out. The options have no portraits during the question, because a portrait could be compared with the art. On the reveal, the name, the title and the skin appear.

Default skin or not?

In at least 40% of the rounds, the art is the default skin. In the rest, it can be another skin of the champion, which changes colors, outfits and backgrounds. Recognizing the silhouette, the weapon or the pose usually works better than looking for the usual colors.

Scoring

A right answer is worth 100 points. Answering while the zoom is still tight is worth up to 100 more for speed, and answers in a row add up to 100 more. A game has 5 rounds, and your best score stays in your browser.

Tips

Champion of the day

The Champion of the day always uses the default splash and is the same for everyone. You get three tries with no timer: the art starts at 4× zoom, opens to 2× on the first miss and to 1.3× on the second, along with the champion’s title.
